Food for families in need
Food rations every year for people eligible for Zakat, handed out outside hospitals, in the places where labourers wait for work, and at madrasas.
The Ahmed Welfare Foundation provides food, medical aid and schooling for families in need in Pakistan, and supports orphanages and homes for elderly people in Lahore. It is funded by the people who knew and loved him.
100% of donations go to those in need. We cover every other cost ourselves.

My father was my everything: my role model in life and in business. He passed away suddenly in December 2020, and every year since, the people who knew him have given money in his memory.
He always wanted to help people in Pakistan on a bigger scale, but he passed away before I could help him set it up. This foundation is how I do it for him.

We buy medicines and medical supplies, and my wife, who is a doctor, distributes them. We also help families who cannot afford treatment for a disabled parent or child.
When the main earner is ill or has had an accident, we help the family get by until they can stand on their own again.
We pay for schooling when parents cannot afford it, so children don't miss out on an education.
Orphanages we have visited and checked ourselves. Donations pay for food, and for extras on special occasions such as Eid.
Homes for elderly people whose children have turned them out, or cannot support them. Every home we support is one we have visited and checked ourselves.
If you knew my father, even if you met him only once, I would love to hear your memory of him.
